Rangi Parauri Intensive Training programme

The Rangi Parauri Intensive programme has been designed to meet the needs of Ngā Manukura o Āpōpō graduates and will prepare practitioners to become a Mataora (change agent).

Mataora develop their own pukenga (skills) by embedding the Mahi a Atua principles in their lives. Because they prioritise oranga whakapapa (bringing our stories to life) a Mataora is trained to share pūrākau with whānau to reconnect whānau to their own stories.

Places for this wānanga are only available to Ngā Manukura graduates and are limited so confirmation of acceptance will be provided closer to the time. All participants are expected to complete all 5 days.

All participants will be required to complete the online training and wānanga (commencing in July) prior to attending the intensive. Details of the online wānanga will be posted shortly.

The cost of this intensive wānanga is covered by the Ngā Manukura programme. Accommodation will be available at the marae from Monday night - participants will need to self-cater for dinner - or take advantage of the great cafe's in Coromandel town in the evening. Funding support for travel and accommodation (Sunday night prior to commencement) is available.
